Universal, CBS, BBC, Channel 4, National Geographic, MTV, Sony Playstation; just some of the world class production companies that Timo Baker has composed music for over the last 12 years. Three of his tracks have been licensed by the CSI: NY series in the last 18 months. He has written scores for over 20 feature-length documentaries that have been broadcast in the US and UK in the last year. He has pitched for eight Hollywood box office film trailers in the last eight months, including The Tourist, Inception and The Green Lantern. In January 2011, one of his tracks is featured as part of the international trailer for forthcoming major movie release: Paul. Timo Baker is a highly creative and versatile composer. His evocative orchestral scores for television documentaries such as Nature Shock for National Geographic provide an epic sense of drama and tension to the subject matter. His thoughtful, contemporary musical insight has supplied edgy and experimental soundscapes to powerful TV dramas as much as to flagship TV themes for the BBC, such as its annual Snooker World Open coverage and spin off Totally Dr Who.
