Tinga Tinga Studio was started by private initiative as a tool to promote and sell Tingatinga paintings from Tinga Tinga Arts Cooperative Society (TACS). However the website is not subsidiary of TACS nor any other artist group in Tanzania, something which garantees neutral choice of quality art.. Despite nonalingnment to any art institution the marketing is done in cooperation with TACS. We are an licensing agent of TACS, John Kilaka, Hendrick Lilanga and Mzuguno Studio. I handle licensing agreements on behalf of these artists
