Tinkerhat Innovation Foundation (TIF)

Tinkerhat Innovation Foundation (TIF) is a Section 8 non-profit organization established in 2021 by esteemed alumni from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, and Azim Premji University, Bangalore. Mission: To create impact at scale. Vision: To shape a just and equitable society empowered with scientific temper and 21st-century skills. Area of Work: - STEAM program for quality education - Sustainable Livelihood for tribal and women artisans STEAM EDUCATION: We are dedicated to enhancing the quality of education in government and economically disadvantaged schools. Our strength lies in delivering interactive, hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) programs that ignite creativity, foster critical thinking, and inspire problem-solving, all in alignment with the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Our relentless pursuit of impact is supported by robust partnerships with CSR Foundations, government bodies, I/NGOs, social enterprises, schools, and HNIs. Currently, we have a presence in 8 states, impacting over 35,500 children and 850+ teachers across more than 81 schools. SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOODS: In 2022, TIF launched a flagship livelihood initiative to promote sustainable livelihoods for tribal and women artisans in Jharkhand. Through this initiative, we are working across 5 villages, impacting over 500 artisans by connecting them to government programs, providing modern training and tools, and linking them to markets. Our goal is to transform these villages into models of holistic development, focusing on improving livelihoods for artisans and ensuring quality education for their children.
