About Tiny Home Decor

After graduating from fashion school in Chicago, I returned to Michigan and began working in fashion styling, buying and merchandising while pursuing my education at Oakland University. During this time, I worked as a fashion wardrobe consultant at a high-end department store and spent my free time hunting for unique vintage fashion pieces at estate sales, flea markets, and antique shops. With a student budget and a love for high-end design, I developed an eclectic wardrobe that set me apart, sparking a deeper passion for rare and distinctive fashion. This enthusiasm led me to start my own online retail business, The Vintage Hideaway, specializing in curated vintage items, from belt buckles and bell bottoms to costume jewelry and fur coats. My passion for finding one-of-a-kind items soon expanded to home décor when I moved into my first house. I was eager to fill the space with unique statement pieces, including antique radios, Hoosier cabinets, vintage advertising signs, and mid-century furniture. That’s when Tiny Home Decor was born. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working with entrepreneurs in the restaurant, real estate, fitness, and event planning industries, helping them create personalized and meaningful spaces. I believe that every space, whether large or small, should reflect individuality and bring joy to those who live and work within it. My focus is on sourcing vintage and antique items from the 1970s or earlier, with the goal of crafting environments that are truly customized to each client’s vision. At the heart of my work is the belief that while fashion and design guidelines exist, personal style and authenticity are key to creating spaces—and wardrobes—that feel genuine and special.
