Tiraka is a dynamic non-profit dedicated to bridging education and real-world industry experience in North America, the UK, and Nigeria. Our mission centers on empowering underserved communities through targeted skill development, mentorship, and sustainable career opportunities. Our flagship programs include the Tiraka Fellowship, Skill Spark, and the Tiraka STEM Discovery Lab. The Tiraka Fellowship offers rigorous training, immersive workshops, internships, and mentorship, equipping emerging professionals with essential industry skills and networking opportunities. Skill Spark provides hands-on vocational training in creative arts, carpentry, tailoring, house cleaning, tie-and-dye, and more—in addition to entrepreneurship—tailored to local market demands. The Tiraka STEM Discovery Lab helps young minds explore the endless possibilities of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Designed for students in grades K-12, this program ignites curiosity, fosters innovation, and builds foundational STEM skills through dynamic, hands-on learning experiences. Participants engage in diverse activities ranging from coding and robotics to artificial intelligence, connecting, learning, creating, making friends, and having fun. Through collaborations with educational institutions, businesses, and NGOs, we ensure impactful and sustainable outcomes.
