Tisacoop has been importing and distributing food products and commodities into Serbia since 1990. Our firm is located in the northern part of Serbia in Kanjiza, near to the Hungarian border, and given our geographic location we are mainly specialised in importing products from Hungary. In addition to that, we work with suppliers from other EU countries as well like Poland, The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. In addition, we also export agricultural and food products to the EU. Thanks to our well-built logistical infrastructure and business connections we are supplying our products to all the major retail chains in Serbia. We also deliver commodities to the food industry, predominantly to the confectionary producers. All this represents a yearly turnover of 3.000 metric tons. Among the wide range of our products, one can find breaded and filled turkey products, frozen turkey leg, breast, wings, cold cuts, sausages, frankfurters, liver pates, smoked turkey leg, Trappist and Karavan cheeses, processed and round-packed cheeses, luncheon-meat, frozen maroon puree, French fries and many more. Building on our existing activities, in 2011 we launched our first retail shop in Belgrade under the name Hungarikum Centar which was followed by an opening of 4 other shops in Novi Sad, Subotica and Kanjiza. In these nicely decorated shops, we aim to present to our customers the products of well-known Hungarian and local producers but we also offer special products like the world-famous porcelains of Zsolnay and other handmade textiles and ceramics decorated with Hungarian motives. In 2017 we started a new project that aims to integrate the beekeepers in Vojvodina (Northern Serbia), collecting their honey and processing it in a professional way. To meet these requirements, we constructed a brand-new processing plant with a yearly capacity of 1.000 tons. Since 2018, our distinguished honey products can be found on the market under the brand name Tisamed.
