Gönüllü teşkilatlanma esasına göre faaliyet gösteren ve Türk işverenlerini endüstri ilişkileri alanında yurtiçinde ve yurtdışında temsil eden tek üst kuruluş olma özelliğini taşıyan TİSK, 20 Aralık 1962’de kurulmuştur.
TİSK’e, ekonominin değişik sektörlerinde faaliyet gösteren 22 işveren sendikası üyedir. Üye İşveren Sendikalarına bağlı 10 bin iş yerinde, 2 milyona yakın çalışan istihdam edilmektedir.
As a voluntary organization and being the sole high authority that represents Turkish Employers in the field of industrial relations at home and abroad, TİSK was established on 20 December 1962.
TİSK members consist of 22 employer associations organized in various sectors of the economy. These member employer associations cover 10.000 enterprises and 2.000.000 employees.
