Tispa Medical has successfully introduced a new tissue processing technology replacing toxic solvents by super critical CO2. The use of toxic and hazardous solvents is a growing concern the world over. The idea to use harmless CO2 to eliminate all of these solvents, originated in the pathology laboratory of the University Medical Centre Groningen. Tispa Medical successfully converted the idea to a new tissue processor that sets the new standard. The CO2 we use is not produced, but reclaimed from industry and is therefore completely environmentally friendly.
