Who we are - Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) is a National Chapter of Transparency International (TI), the global movement against corruption. TISL is an independent, not for profit, civil society organization registered under the Companies of Act of Sri Lanka operating since 2002. TISL’s mandate is to minimize or eradicate corruption from Sri Lanka envisioning a nation that upholds integrity. Our mission to support the collective effort to eradicate corruption in order to build a future Sri Lanka which is equitable, peaceful and just is achieved by engaging stakeholders in the public, private and civil society sectors in research, advocacy and outreach work focusing on anti-corruption, accountability and transparency.
