Titan physiotherapy is a physiotherapy fit that specialises in rural area physiotherapy programs established in 2017 in Anambra State. Associated with the aging of our population is a significant rise in the prevalence of chronic diseases. This in turn has increased the need for physical therapists and physical therapy services by all health agencies. The never known before need for services may outstrip the capabilities of the existing medical facilities. Many people continue to live with physical disabilities across the globe, especially in rural Africa despite expertise of Physiotherapists and available evidence of effectiveness of Physiotherapy. The obstacles to obtaining optimal physiotherapy services in most rural community are: • poverty • unavailability of physiotherapy services, • poor knowledge of health workers and community dwellers of the roles and scope of physiotherapy, • poor health care seeking behavior of community dwellers, • patronage of traditional health workers, • poor referral practices by health workers. MISSION The goal of titan physiotherapy is to provide quality yet affordable physiotherapy services to people in rural areas to help bring nigeria closer to achieving SDG 3. OBJECTIVES: The Objectives of The TITAN PHYSIOTHERAPY are: • to create a physiotherapy network in rural communities the will cater for the needs of rural dwellers • provide high quality physiotherapy services at affordable cost in rural and low income areas • provide physiotherapy clinics tailored to the unique needs of each community. • to promote healthy lifestyle and good heath seeking behavior among rural area dwellers through targeted outreach programs. • to provide jobs for fresh young physiotherapy graduates. • to create more far reaching awareness of what physiotherapy is and what physiotherapy can do for you. • Assist in bringing Nigeria closer to achieving SDG 3
