TAPMI Journal of Economics and Finance (TJEF), is a student-run, peer-reviewed journal of the T. A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal. The journal publishes research papers of students with an objective to encourage finance enthusiasts to pen down their thoughts and opinions in a well-articulated manner. TJEF has an advisory editorial board with academicians and esteemed industry professionals. The editorial board of TJEF also maintains the TAPMI Finance Blog to ensure that students are abreast of the latest happenings in the world of finance. Some of the key initiatives taken up are mentioned below: 1.Research papers are published on current topics in banking, economics and finance. a.We encourage submissions from students enrolled in leading business schools in India and abroad. b.We aim to provide constructive feedback on all submissions, and guide the authors through our unique Authors Assistance Program. 2.Intelligent Insights is a brief article series aimed to give a perspective on a variety of interesting and pressing financial phenomena. 3.Fincabulary focuses on enhancing financial literacy by posting a new buzzword along with its meaning and usage. 4.Quote Your Vote is a poll series that is conducted during important global events and seeks to understand public perception and opinions. 5.Experts Opinion is an initiative wherein Experts from the financial background express their views on pressing topics of the financial world. 6.Interesting Reads attempts to keep people abreast of the current happenings around the globe by sharing links to articles from reputed magazines, journals, and news agencies.
