T.J. Sivananda Mudaliar Educational Trust was established in the year 2007, under the vision of a renowned industrialist and philanthropist late. Shri. T.J.Sivanandam, who envisioned a top- class technological institute. He infused the spirit of promoting Higher Education among his brothers Shri. T. J. Arumugam, Shri. T. J. Desamuthu and Shri. T.J.Govindarajan and his dreams have come true with the establishment of T.J.S.Engineering College in the academic year 2009 – 2010. His dream was further fulfilled when the college was selected as the “BEST EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE” among the newly started Engineering Colleges, by “Education Today”. Shri. T.J.Govindarajan, who has stipulated high standard for the college, is the Chairman and the Managing Trustee. T.J.S.Engineering College, started in the year 2009 by T.J.Sivananda Mudaliar Educational Trust is devoted to develop this college into a well-known institution for Engineering education. The college is located in Thiruvallur District, Tamilnadu at a distance of about 30 Kms from Chennai on the Chennai- Vijayawada- Kolkata National Highway (NH5). The serene sprawling green pasture and the impressive infrastructure provide academic ambience. The college endeavors impart Quality Education and Experiential Learning that would mould the young minds and their skills to achieve success. Its high profile faculty, provide high standards of education with freedom and responsibility. The College is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. A Governing body was constituted for the developmental activities of the college and its future planning which ultimately steers this Institution to greater heights of Fame and Glory.
