Tlang means ‘mountain’ in Mizo dialect. Tlang Tribe product lines are mainly Chin fabrics that were made in Chin villages in Chin and Rakhine State, Myanmar. History of Chinland The Chin are ethnic group that lives in the remote mountains of northwestern Myanmar in an area that borders Assam, India to the west, Bangladesh to the southwest, Myanmar ‘s Arakan state to the south and Burmese-dominated Myanmar to the east. Traditionally Chin Villages were established throughout the mountain ranges of Chin State in accordance with different tribes and diverse languages.
