Our mission is to provide equitable access to high-quality educational opportunities for all students. We are a team of educational professionals who have ground-level expertise and years of service that allow us to dream up programs, opportunities, spaces and schools that are grounded in what research supports as best practice, high quality teaching, and optimal learning for students. We fight for students who are a part of marginalized communities, including newcomer, refugee and housing insecure youth, recognizing the brilliance and value of each student. We support teachers, particularly those who teach in diverse schools and organize professional learning, designed by experienced and innovative educators, to inspire them to see what’s possible in education. We advocate for families and communities and honor the expertise they bring to the table. We partner with community organizations to create programs that are culturally sustaining and support the unique needs of community members by working with these organizations to identify culturally responsive approaches to build learning.
