The Light Foundation (TLF) is a humanitarian and development organisation registered in Ghana, guided by the teachings of Islam, endeavors to tackle poverty and its causes by developing innovative and sustainable solutions that enable individuals and their communities to live with dignity and by supporting initiatives that promote economic and social justice. Our Vision We envisage the alleviation of poverty, education for all, and the provision of basic amenities for those in need; in order to create a society where charity and compassion prevails. Our Core Values We are guided by the timeless values and teachings of the Qur’an and Prophetic example (Sunnah), which recognise that people with wealth have a duty to those who are less fortunate.
