Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. - Evergreen Park Chicago Chapter Brief History The Evergreen Park Chicago Chapter (EPCC) of Top Ladies of Distinction (TLOD), Incorporated was chartered on January 22, 2015, in the city of Chicago, Illinois. The Chapter Organizer is Lady Giselé M. Casanova, who also served as the chartering president. EPCC was charted by Lady Drema Lee Woldman, who served as National Area III Director at the time. Lady Peggy Lewis LeCompte was serving as National President. The service area of EPCC includes Evergreen Park, Illinois and the southwest communities of Chicago, including what is referred to as the “Beverly” area. However, in an effort to provide service to youth and adults, EPCC has partnered with and participated in service programs throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. The Top Teens of America chapter for EPCC was chartered in April of 2005 and is referred to as TTA EPCC. Since their chartering, both TLOD EPCC and TTA EPCC have provided stellar programs of service that address our National Program Thrusts and that support our National Projects. TLOD EPCC and TTA EPCC have won awards on the Area and National levels for their programs of service, for their support of our National Projects, for the service of their officers, for their scrapbooks and for their conference attendance. Casanova (2014) Mary Clements (2015-2018) Gayle Thompson (2018 - Present) Our Purpose The purpose of EPCC is to sponsor Top Teens of America, a youth organization; to develop and implement programs that improve the status of women, improve the quality of life of senior citizens, promote community beautification, form community partnerships, and support projects designated by the national office of Top Ladies of Distinction, Incorporated, referred to as TLOD.
