TMSCA was founded in 2019 as a rebranding of the Student Society for Stem Cell Research at the University of California, Berkeley, to emphasize our support for the medical applications of stem cells, in addition to groundbreaking research in stem cell biology.
We are a student group passionate about promoting public support for stem cell research, familiarizing our members with the research landscape at UC Berkeley and the Bay Area, and helping our members achieve their professional goals in the life sciences. At our meetings, we host a variety of guest speakers from academia, industry, and healthcare.
