We are a dynamic community of students from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University), committed to fostering innovation through events, workshops, and conferences that unite students from diverse fields of study. Our goal is to empower student developers & entrepreneurs in the heart of Canada's largest city to showcase their talents, collaborate, and create cutting-edge solutions using technology. Our GDG TMU community hosts a cross-platform reach of 6,000+ members, with nearly 2,000 followers on Instagram (@gdgtmu), over 2,000 followers on LinkedIn, and a newsletter audience of more than 1,200 engaged subscribers. This allows us to engage with our audience through unique mediums to maximize retention rate and showcase updates, events, and initiatives. We are excited to announce our upcoming hackathon, a high-energy overnight event bringing together 600+ students from across Canada.
