TNPL School

During the fourth quarter of the 20th century, to be more precise, on 1st August 1984 the TNPL school was established by the Tamilnadu Newsprint and Papers Ltd. However a formal inaugural function was held on 30.07.1984 at 11.00 A.M in which the school was inaugurated by Mr. M.V.G. Rao, Charter President, TNPL School Society. With 84 children and two teachers, the school started its journey and The School has completed 25 years of dedication in education as on date. Yet another Mile Stone Our TNPL MHSS is the only School in the entire Karur District that enjoys the “FIVE STAR STATUS”. After rigorous assessment, Bharathidasan University declared our school as accredited at the Five Star level on 24.02.2006. Governance and administration As on date the school caters to the needs of 2000 children. It imparts high quality value based education in a vibrant academic ambience. The School is justifiably proud to have an efficient and devoted band of 94 teachers and 32 non teaching staff headed by the National Awardee veteran Principal Dr.A.Govidaraju. The management and administration of the school is looked after by the TNPL School Society. It has at present strength of 31 members. An Executive Committee and a Parent Committee assist in the administration. Scholastic and Non Scholastic Achievements A lot many of our children were academically placed in NITs, Anna University, Govt. Medical Colleges and Premier Institutions across the country. Many of our brawny children have participated in the National level tournaments and secured a lot of accolades. Since our Teachers walked that extra mile to enable the children understanding the underlying concepts, it has become practice for the TNPLians to get placement in internationally renowned companies. To citie one example, Mr C.Rajasekar our alumnus presently works in Microsoft, USA as top level executive.
