ISCB-SC RSG-India, Tamil Nadu Node [SRIHER]

The Tamil Nadu Node of the Regional Student Group-India (ISCB-SC), based at Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER), Chennai, is a student-led initiative dedicated to advancing the fields of bioinformatics and computational biology. We unite students and professionals passionate about the synergy of biology, data science, and computational innovation, fostering a collaborative ecosystem for learning and growth. Our mission is to cultivate interdisciplinary expertise, facilitate scientific discourse, and exchange of knowledge—both within SRIHER and across Tamil Nadu’s academic and research landscape. We aim to empower the next generation of computational biologists, bioinformaticians, and life science researchers through workshops, networking events, and research collaborations, and strengthen India’s presence in this transformative discipline.
