Hello. We are TOA. We are a consultancy with a unique system that removes wellbeing barriers, producing higher-performing teams. Our system helps teams become more focused, time-efficient, engaged and productive. OUR WHY - from our Founder, Amy. In 2014, one year after founding my first business, I was hit by a dangerous driver. I lost the use of my legs and thought that was it for me. I had a permanently damaged spine, soft tissue injuries, PTSD, trauma, hair loss, and 5 years of chronic pain. All while trying to run and grow my new business. I had a spinal fusion as a last resort and was wheelchair bound, not allowed to bend, twist or lift. I pushed myself to keep going. The world went into lockdown. and I was left without help or treatment, so I did my own physio and exercises using online videos while running AM. 4 months after my fusion and during the first lockdown, my husband and business partner took his own life. I had to sell my business in order to keep my house. I hit rock bottom and lost everything. I didn't give up; I prioritised health, self-care, and therapy. I read every book, did every meditation, took every online class, and created a structure to get myself back on track. I pushed past the mental barriers I placed on myself, so I could grow, perform at my best, and reach my goals. I went through the ringer, but thanks to my system, I am happier and healthier than I have ever been. I made plenty of mistakes along the way, and created TOA so others don't have to go through the same to achieve the end result. You may be thinking, "okay Amy, your story is on the extreme end of the spectrum, it doesn't apply to my challenges." TOA applies to hiccups and disasters; we're all individuals with a different 10/10.
