Todd Lowe Consulting

A native Floridian and son of golf course superintendent, David Lowe, Todd worked on golf courses from the age of 14 through graduate school. He studied turfgrass science at the University of Florida (B.S. Environmental Horticulture '95) and Clemson University (M.S. Horticulture Sciences '98), before becoming a USGA agronomist (2000-2018), where his primary responsibilities included golf course consultation but also writing numerous turfgrass management articles and giving presentations at local, national and international golf course superintendent associations as well as individual golf clubs. Lowe was also the lead agronomist of several USGA and IGF (International Golf Federation) championships during that time. From 2018-2024, Lowe was a technical service manager for Bayer Environmental Sciences (which later became Envu), one of the leading manufacturers of turfgrass plant protectants. While there, he provided technical assistance to turfgrass managers, developed pest management programs and coordinated research projects to commercialize effective products for difficult and emerging turf pests. PhD Laboratory, a professional soil diagnostic lab in South Florida, was acquired in 2024 to better understand soil porosity issues on golf courses.
