TuoGuan was a FinTech platform that provided portfolio analytics and optimization solutions to investment advisors, fund sales professionals and sophisticated retail investors in China. The platform operated on a freemium subscription-based model and provided users with: • Financial data (economic data; market data for stocks, funds and financial indices as well as fundamental and ESG reporting data for public companies); • performance-risk analytics software with comprehensive back-testing tools; • GenAI Q&A Chat bot based on LLM & RAG techniques and financial reports filings; • reporting functionalities of the portfolios and portfolio optimization tools based on Markowitz and Black-Litterman models. The site was developed with various modern technologies such as Python/Django for backend, JS for frontend, AWS China (with elastic container service, load balancers, Jenkins) for hosting and utilized LangChain & Baidu Qianfan LLM Chat models and embeddings models for the GenAI functionalities.
