Together Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation and a registered public
charitable trust, based at Mumbai. The organisation was founded by Sangeetha and V Chakrapani, parents to two adult daughters experiencing autism along with professionals in the field of medicine and disabilities. Established in 2015, Together Foundation has completed ten years of service in the fields of autism and other special needs.
At Mumbai, Together runs a sheltered workshop that works with young people with autism and other intellectual disabilities. We run a bakery that is FSSAI certified, data entry for financial institutions, paper plate manufacturing unit, paper bag design unit and run the first shop that trains and employs people with intellectual disabilities.
At Hosur, Together Foundation has launched a residential project for enabling
young adults with autism to learn to live independently: The Together
Community.
Together Foundation is also establishing not for profit autism intervention services at Hosur for the benefit of the general public and neighboring villages. The organisation is driven by values of commitment and transparent work ethics towards empowering safety happiness and independent living for people with special needs.
