Founded in June 2012, Toi xe dich is a culture-centered communication project for young people. Carrying the mission of encouraging young people to travel further and live deeper, to build a better understanding of national values, Toi xe dich has been organizing a series of monthly cultural excursions called Windy Days which have received strong interest and support from young people as well as experts.
Besides visiting ruins and landscapes, the other highlight of Windy days lies in the chance of culture exploration and face-to-face discuss with cultural-historical experts, to learn interesting lessons about the country and people of Vietnam.
The cornerstone of the project was a concern of: giving the young a fulcrum on which they can honor their country with the true love emerging from the understanding of, the respect to and the appreciation of cultural and humans values, rather than exhorted and superficial love.
Through cultural excursions named Windy Days, Toi xe dich has created a cultural bridge among generations, awakening national pride and patriotism and calling for action to promote the traditional beauty - a stepping stone for Vietnamese youth to reach out to the world.
