Tokyo Orientations was founded in 1983 to assist expatriate families in their move to Japan. We recognize that such a move presents unique challenges to an individual/family; that cultural and linguistic barriers can intensify a family's sense of dislocation and undermine a successful assignment. Many relocation support services address the logistical problems of housing and schools, but they cannot bring the expatriate perspective unique to our staff. Our multicultural, multilingual office and consulting staff mirrors our client base and facilitates easy communication with our expatriate clients, Japanese Human Resources personnel and local vendors.
