About Toll Aviation
Toll Aviation, a division of Toll Government and Defence, is an experienced and trusted provider of crewed and uncrewed specialised operations and training, delivering both standalone and integrated solutions for Government, Defence and the civil sector. With a commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellence, Toll Aviation strives to deliver comprehensive solutions using helicopters, uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) and fixed-wing aircraft, in support of communities in need. Toll Ambulance Rescue Helicopter Service: The Toll Ambulance Rescue Service covers the Southern Zone of NSW and ACT. Tasked to over 3000 critical care missions each year, we operate from four aeromedical bases with a standardised fleet of eight AW139 helicopters. The ACE Training Centre: Our purpose-built centre of excellence located at Bankstown NSW offers world class aviation and aeromedical training facilities, highly realistic mission simulation technology and some of the industry’s most experienced instructors. Toll Uncrewed Systems: As a leading Australian UAS flight operations and training provider, we help transform industries and businesses with cutting edge drone training, operations, equipment and consulting services. Defence Aviation Programs: Toll Aviation’s Defence Programs are focused on meeting Defence and other Federal Government agencies’ aviation needs within Australia and regionally with crewed and uncrewed solutions. Currently supporting the ADF with leased aircraft and aircrew training, fully crewed Crash Response Helicopters, and aeromedical support to exercises. Fixed Wing Air Ambulance Service: In October 2024, Toll Group acquired Pel-Air’s fixed wing air ambulance services. Once these services and contracts are integrated, Toll Aviation will operate eight King Air B200/300 series turboprops and two Pilatus PC-24 jets on behalf of the New South Wales and Victoria governments over the next decade.
