Tolnagro Állatgyógyászati Ltd. was established in Szekszárd in 1996 by the merger of two successful distributors of veterinary medicinal products in the South-Transdanubium region: Tolnavet Ltd. (1993) and Agrovet Ltd. (1990). The aim of the merger was to create a company that offers higher quality services to its customers. Turnover, warehouse capacity, logistics and the number of employees increased with the development of the company, which is by now the leading wholesaler in the Hungarian market of veterinary medicinal products.
Today we serve customers from all Hungarian regions. Net turnover in 2007 was 6 billion Forints, placing the company far ahead of its competitors. Tolnagro has retained its position as the leader of the veterinary pharmaceutical wholesale market for three years.
