A dynamic and young research group of the chemistry department "G. Ciamician" of the University of Bologna, which focuses its main scientific interests on the development of synthetic methodologies of high industrial interest, with scientific expertise proven by numerous and scientifically profitable collaborations with important industrial realities. The group is particularly involved in the development of green methodologies for the synthesis of API peptides and biomolecules, with a focus on reducing the PMI of the involved processes. In this context, the group also focuses on optimising the sustainability of cross-coupling reactions that are essential for the synthesis of biomolecules of pharmaceutical interest. IThe proactiveness of this research group can be seen in the impactful scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and in the patents developed in collaboration with industrial partners.
