Tooloo is an Australian clean energy startup pioneering a new approach to renewable heat for industries and communities. Tooloo has developed an innovative solar thermal collector that delivers high-temperature heat in a simple, affordable, and scalable way. At its core is a patented, fully mechanical, passive dual-axis solar tracker, the first of its kind, which eliminates the need for electricity, motors, or sensors, drastically reducing costs and maintenance. Designed for small to medium industries, off-grid facilities, and even residential applications, the system can produce heat in forms like hot oil, steam, or hot air, at temperatures up to 1000°C. It directly addresses the gap left by existing technologies like photovoltaics and traditional CSP, which are either too expensive, too complex, or unsuitable for high-temperature, continuous industrial use.
