Toopit, founded in 2016, is a B2B startup based in Berlin, aiming to build a secure management system for medical teams. What's palpable in the hospital space is massive inefficiencies in hospital workflows. Only in the US, over $11 billion a year wastes as a result of inefficient communication technology. Through our extensive dialogue with different stakeholders within hospital space, we've identified two pressing issues concerning hospital workflows a) Patient Transfer Management - PTM, and b) Chronic Patient Management - CPM. PTM: Hospital network lacks an effective Patient Transfer Management to coordinate patient transfer amongst hospitals. In Germany, up to 700.000 patients are transferred between acute care hospitals per year. In the US, the transfer planning of a patient takes up to 18% of a doctor's working time. CPM: The burden of chronic disease adversely affects the lives of tens of millions of patients and their families. Their lives are plagued by frequent exacerbations, often resulting in hospitalizations. Our vision is to build a secure management tools that helps medical teams to thrive at their care-giving operations. We are here to make sure that the only medical teams' concern is the well-being of patients.
