Formed in 2015 by Brant Shuman, CPA, a CFO; Accenture Partner; Big-4 technical accounting specialist; and IBM Finance Executive, Toorak Advisors provides fractional CFO and finance and accounting (F&A) services to small and medium sized businesses. After spending almost 25 years as a practicing CPA, Finance Executive and working with Big-4 and top consulting firms, Brant formed Toorak Advisors to lead finance organizations and finance change programs. From 2015 to 2017, Brant was the CFO for a $200 million Michigan based multi-site retail, real estate and family office organization, fundamentally transforming the financial landscape of this 20-year-old enterprise. Brant’s CFO experience through 2017 was the start of a fresh approach to providing CFO capabilities to a segment of the market that had been neglected. Brant leverages his expertise in finance, technology, tax, M&A, and consulting through Toorak Advisors to offer fractional (a.k.a., “Outsourced”) CFO services to small and medium sized businesses.
