Top Iron Pty Ltd

Top Iron Pty Ltd was established in 2010, and its stake in the industry commenced with the purchase of two exploration tenements in the mid-west of Western Australia, known as Mummaloo (E59/1694) and Hong Kong Reward (E59/1695). After exploration, these tenements have now been granted mining licenses (M59/744 and M59/747). Additional tenements have since been obtained in the area to collectively form the Greater Mummaloo Project which covers a total area of 670km² and inferred JORC resource of 132 million tonnes. Since then, Top Iron has established an exploration program and purchased further tenement at Yalgoo (E59/1816). On 29 March 2015, Top Iron achieved its landmark first shipment milestone from the Mummaloo Project with the vessel departing from Geraldton Port carrying 60,834 tonnes of iron ore bound for Lianyungang Port, northern-eastern province of Jiangsu, China. Top Iron is well supported through its strategic partnership with Chinese steel manufacturer, Shanxi Jianbang Group, who has invested in the development of the Mummaloo Project.
