Topaz Number One Limited (“Topaz”) is a corporate vehicle designed to attract inward investment to the upstream Malaysian oil & gas sector and specifically to target value in exploration Block 2A. Topaz Owners & Founding Directors are James Menzies & Dr. Pierre Eliet. Topaz aims to: 1. Play a critical catalytic role in bringing key investors into Malaysia upstream to unlock the further potential of the Malaysian basins 2. Use it’s technical knowledge and knowhow in regional plays in combination with a wide industry network and contacts to promote the acreage 3. Work closely with the state company and regulator to ensure the acreage is evaluated thoroughly to help deliver successful outcomes for all parties All of this with the ultimate aim to get material high impact prospects drilled that would otherwise have been overlooked.
