TOPCSP

The "Towards Competitive, Reliable, Safe, and Sustainable Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) Plants" (TOPCSP) doctoral network offers a unique international, intersectoral, and interdisciplinary research and innovation framework to 10 promising doctoral fellows. TOPCSP's research and training activities aim to enhance the fellows' expertise in developing innovative technologies, enabling them to tackle the challenges currently faced by the solar thermal power industry. CSP plants with thermal storage play a crucial role in transitioning the world to a renewable and carbon-free energy generation system, providing dispatchable power to the grid and controlled process heat.
