The company which today is known as Toplis and Harding are the direct descendants of the business established over 200 years ago. Toplis and Harding provide professional services to both local and international insurance markets in all aspects of claim handling arising from marine, fire, accident, contractors all risks, liability and special risks policies. Toplis and Harding is a broadly based organisation operating from five strategically located offices in East Africa, under the day to day control of professionally qualified General Managers. In order to fulfil our corporate missions of “providing quality claims services that will satisfy the wants and needs of our clients and their customers” we have a wide range of expertise enabling us to handle all forms of losses in a professional and efficient manner. Our aim is to provide European standards even in third world countries. To that end our people are a blend of British expatriates and those born in Africa. We aspire to the highest ethical standards both in our business dealings and our contribution to local society. We follow the rules of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (UK) of which we are members. Our highly trained professional personnel include Fellows of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (FCILA), chartered insurance practitioners (F/ACII), chartered arbitrators, chartered and forensic accountants, engineers, agronomists, marine and aviation surveyors and investigators.
