Основните производствени мощности – ТЕЦ „София“ и ТЕЦ „София Изток“ – използват високоефективна когенерация за производство на топлинна и електрическа енергия, с обща топлинна мощност от 4 188 MWt и електрическа инсталирана мощност от 27, 4 MWe.

Toplofikacia Sofia E.A.D. is the largest district heating company in Bulgaria and across the Balkans, with over 65 years of experience in central heating and combined heat and power (CHP) generation. Established in 1957 as a municipal enterprise, the company is now fully owned by the Sofia Municipality and plays a vital role in the capital’s energy security.
We serve more than 466,000 residential and business clients, operate a network of over 1,030 km, and manage 17,800+ substations across the city. Our main production sites — TPP Sofia and TPP Sofia East — use high-efficiency cogeneration to deliver both heat and electricity, with a total thermal capacity of 4,188 MWt and an installed electrical capacity of 27.4 MWe.
