Our position is that the alluvial gold mining sector is misunderstood and underestimated from a value proposition point of view. We would even go so far as to say that the sector hosts some of the best value for money gold assets available today. These assets are sitting idle and neglected, starved of capital and expertise.
Alluvial gold projects require little capital investment for exploration and development and are quick into production. Despite gold discoveries getting harder and project grades falling, alluvial gold projects have not received any material attention from gold investors or mining companies since the early 2000's. The current gold price is 4 X the inflation adjusted gold price in the early 2000's when placer gold completely fell out of favor with resource investors.
