Torréfaction Québec a été fondé en 2016 afin de permettre aux personnes intéressées de venir torréfier eux-mêmes leur café et ainsi, si elles le veulent, de posséder leur propre marque.
De cette façon, il devient possible de percer le marché du café en minimisant les risques liés au démarrage d’une entreprise de torréfaction.
Les coûts reliés à l’installation d’un atelier professionnel pouvant monter à plusieurs dizaines de milliers de dollars, il nous a semblé important de créer un espace où chacun peut venir torréfier soi-même son café.
Comme nos utilisateurs n’ont pas à investir dans l’achat de tout l’équipement nécessaire à la production de café, ils peuvent alors tout miser sur la sélection des grains de café vert.
