Total Depth's President, Jason Harms, founded the company in 2015 after recognizing the industry's need for a more sustainable geosteering career and lifestyle. Meeting our clients and team members needs is vital to the success of the company.
Jason started his career as a mudlogger in the Permian and Anadarko Basins, after graduating from Oklahoma University with a Bachelor's Degree in Geology. In under two years, he quickly made his way from mudlogger to command center geologist to operations geologist studying petrophysics at WPX Energy in Denver, Colorado. Jason has written publications on geosteering methods and using tool physics to calculate formation dip in a lateral.
