Founded in 2010 by Artistic Directors Jess Thom and Matthew Pountney, Touretteshero is a neurodiverse, disabled led, multi-disciplinary arts organisation, working nationally and internationally. Our mission is to create a more inclusive and socially just society for disabled and non-disabled people through our cultural practice.
We celebrate diversity in its broadest sense, are committed to social justice, and champion disability arts. We create thought-provoking, joyful artistic experiences and inspire change nationally and internationally, within the arts sector and beyond. We challenge and support organisations to identify, understand and remove systemic barriers that exclude disabled artists, audiences and staff.
