Tourism Thunder Bay

Known as the gateway to Northwestern Ontario and an outdoorsman's paradise, Thunder Bay is nestled on the shores of the beautiful Lake Superior, the largest freshwater lake in the world, and surrounded by the Canadian Shield and the boreal forest. Tourism Thunder Bay operates two information bureaus which welcome people from all across Canada and the around the world to Thunder Bay. The Terry Fox Information Centre is open year round. The Pagoda near the waterfront at Prince Arthur's Landing is open during the summer months. Located down in the Waterfront District of Thunder Bay, Tourism Thunder Bay's Administration Office is located in the historical Whalen Building.
