Touristable Project

The TOURISTABLE project, Co-funded by the EU, is an innovative initiative whose objective is to create a Training Model in the VET (Vocational Education and Training) sector by designing, with the contribution of specialised stakeholders, an Innovative Training Course that - enables companies to use the topic of Inclusion as a Booster for Corporate Development - envision a Local Cooperation Model between Public Bodies, Tourism Companies and Bodies that deal with the Social and Labour Inclusion of People with Disabilities, so that the Territorial Districts that adopt the Model may become more attractive both in terms of their capacity to involve People with Disabilities in employment, and from the point of view of the local economy. Another objective of the project is to better align the Tourism Sector with the needs of the labour market, with a special focus on inclusion and innovation, increasing the Autonomy of people with disabilities and involving them in the enhancement of local cultural and tourist resources.
