Tourniqaid is driven by a strong commitment to safeguard the lives of Israeli soldiers and civilians. We operate on a simple yet powerful premise - for every tourniquet purchased by our customers, another is donated to those in need. This dual approach allows us to equip those on the front lines and provide vital support to Israeli communities. A common phrase in the IDF medic’s course is - “A tourniquet is the best life-saving tool you can give to an untrained soldier”. The same is true of civilians - most are not trained in emergency medicine, but a tourniquet is extremely fast, straightforward and effective. On October 7th, 2023, the Jewish world experienced the greatest tragedy since the Holocaust. Over 1400 Israelis were murdered with thousands more wounded by Hamas terrorists. Many of the wounded survived long enough to reach a hospital because of a tourniquet being applied quickly. With the support of our customers and generous donors, we aim to make CATs available for free to all 9 million citizens of Israel and help others protect themselves along the way! In addition to our tourniquet donation program, we offer free training on tourniquet usage. Our aim is to ensure that people are not only equipped with this life-saving tool but also empowered with the knowledge to use it effectively. Through partnerships with synagogues, Jewish community centers, and Jewish schools across the United States, we actively engage with communities to raise awareness and promote preparedness.
