Are you autistic and struggling? Ready to move on to brilliantly autistic? Towards Meaning Counselling is a therapy service supporting autistic adults with navigating all aspects of life. It is run by me, Lii Brooke, a qualified counsellor and a happily autistic person myself. I want to play a part in making counselling accessible. And so alongside seeing private clients, I support several charities, such as the Jewish Action for Mental Health and Cameron’s Companions. I truly believe autism is a cognitive difference and not an impairment. Start with strengths and see possibilities, start with struggles and see limitations…What do you choose? In my counselling practice I help you to: -discover your genuine self -manage emotions -negotiate fulfilling relationships -thrive at work My therapeutic approach is centred on encouraging clients to regain a sense of control. As we gradually rediscover our own resourcefulness, creativity and autonomy, a great deal of negative symptoms subsides.
