Toxplus was founded in 2021 with the purpose of providing toxicology services, initially focusing on the proposal of Health-Based Exposure Limits (Permitted Daily Exposure - PDE) for active pharmaceutical ingredients (in compliance with ANVISA's RDC 301 of 2019). The creation of Toxplus was also based on offering training and capacity building in toxicology, leveraging the expertise of our team, which is composed of PhD professionals with diverse specializations in industrial and regulatory toxicology.
In 2023, supported by the expertise of our team, which includes two former ANVISA consultants who participated in the validation process of the Optimized Reading Tool for Pesticide Registration (FLORA), we expanded our services to focus more prominently on pesticide registration processes. Specifically, our team has extensive knowledge and experience in Phase 1 of the pesticide registration process, including the complex evaluation of toxicological dossiers and the qualified completion of FLORA, ensuring greater efficiency and effectiveness in securing product approval.
Since then, Toxplus has been offering services in industrial and regulatory toxicology, primarily for agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. We also remain committed to providing training and capacity-building programs in toxicology for these industrial sectors.
