Wellness provides support and guidance members of the Toronto Police Service on matters relating to occupational and non-occupational injury/disease, workplace safety, return to work initiatives and services provided by our Chaplains. Wellness ensures services are in compliance with the Police Services Act, the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, the Personal Health Information and Protection Act and any other governing legislation and the Toronto Police Service's policies, procedures and collective agreements. The Unit is comprised of 3 pillars: the Health and Wellbeing Team, Safety Team and Health and Absence Recovery (HART) Team.
