Tradesolved - Digitising trade in agriculture, mining, industry & construction across Africa

Tradesolved is an online marketplace that provides a portal to manufacturers, wholesales and retailers to trade with each other as well as sell to individual buyers (D2C). The marketplace carries equipment, business supplies, raw materials, inputs, tools and accessories demanded and used in the mining, agriculture, construction and industrial sectors. Tradesolved sells several subscription plans to list on the portal as well as access supporting digital marketing and advertising tools and services. 70-80% of trade in Afrca happens through small businesses and many of these do not have the knowledge nor expertise to take advantage of nor embrace the digital landscape, yet global business is now moving online. They thus do not also know how to effectively reach their customers nor new suppliers. The coming up of the Africa Free Trade Area also means that of these businesses will not be able to fully leverage the opening up of the Africa trading landscape to access new markets in other countries. Tradesolved seeks to answer that challenge by providing a portal for safe and secure trade as well as the tools for these businesses to manage their operations effecively, reach new territories while building their own credit credibility.
