Material use efficiency:
Toroidal magnetic core, use for winding coil 100% area (LIMB). It improves all inductors and transformers properties; magnetic, electrical, thermal, mechanical, and of course reliability and the lower cost because there is no Yoke!
Leakage flux :
Toroidal core has generally no leakage flux, therefore no additional noise sources from leakage flux, and no EMI in electronic systems.
