Training 4 Resilience provides resilience and business continuity training solutions for agencies, organisations and communities. We specialise in the design and delivery of table top exercises that are used to validate plans, develop people as individuals and teams, and to test well established procedures – in fact we have designed and delivered over 150 exercises to date. Our exercises are simulations of emergency situations and vary from alerting exercises (to validate the alerting procedures in the event of an emergency); to short training exercises (focused on a particular topic or area); and full day simulations of complex, unfolding situations. Our customers this year have included premiership football and rugby clubs; large music festivals in the UK and Europe; London local authorities; world leading aviation, tech and food companies; and a range of sporting events. We believe that by working together, sharing knowledge and best practice, you can deliver safer, more secure, more resilient events and organisations. Training 4 Resilience have developed many exercise scenarios that are high on organisational risk registers including: 1. MTFA (Marauding Terrorist with Firearms) 2. Terrorist bombings 3. Human disease (Pandemic ‘Flu) 4. Large and small scale utility loss 5. Overcrowding and crowd disturbances 6. Facilitating and managing disabled supporters in a crisis 7. Transportation issues 8. Severe weather 9. Fires (and pyrotechnics at a venues or events). 10. Loss of core buildings/facilities Each exercise is unique - tailored specifically for the needs and circumstances of each client, including the geography, management structure, and business/event operations. In addition to exercises, we also provide training courses for clients in a variety of different areas including incident management (at both tactical and strategic levels); media training; log keeping; and specialist courses such as volunteer steward training. Several of our courses are delivered on line using our virtual T4R classroom. This innovative approach enables participants from geographically dispersed locations to come together in a live training environment via the internet – thus saving significant amounts of travel time and associated costs, as well as supporting core environmental targets for many clients. We also provide practical, hands on, support for events including the management of volunteer stewards.
